APPLYING TO THALES ACADEMY

When making enrollment decisions, our goal is to ensure the success of each child. Acceptance is offered when the academic development, social maturity, and transitional readiness of the student is a good match for our program. Decisions are made after a full review of the application, checklist items, and interview results.

Application Process

The admissions process consists of multiple steps and all required forms are submitted online.

Step 1: Check Campus Availability by Creating an Account

The first step collects basic contact and demographic information, and preferred campus and grade. There is no fee to submit the first step of the application, and once completed, families will be notified via email of enrollment availability.

Step 2: Complete Admissions Application

The second step goes into further detail about the student’s academic history. A $25 application fee is required to submit a completed application and proceed to next steps.

Step 3: Complete Checklist Items

After completing the application, additional documentation will be requested through the admissions checklist. All required checklist items must be complete for the candidate to be eligible to continue in the process.

Step 4: Schedule and Complete Student Interview and Assessment

Candidates who have completed their application and admissions checklist in full by the priority deadline will be scheduled for an interview by the admissions office, unless previously notified otherwise. After the priority deadline, interviews will be scheduled as space remains available.

Step 5: Receive Admissions Decision

Admissions decisions will be communicated to families via email on February 1, March 1, and on a rolling basis thereafter. If accepted, an enrollment contract will be issued, and a $200 (Pre-K) or $300 (K–12) non-refundable, tuition deductible enrollment deposit is required to secure your child’s seat.

For academic year 2021–22:

Although our academic year has already begun, we still have a limited number of seats available for enrollment at select campuses. Applications are considered on a first-come, first-serve basis as space allows.

For academic year 2022–23:

Thales Academy is implementing a phased admissions process beginning in the 2022–23 academic year. 

The priority deadline for admissions consideration is November 1, 2021. Applications submitted on or after November 2 will be considered as space remains available.

Applying For Future Years

If you're interested in applying to an existing Thales Academy campus in the future, you can complete Step 1 of the application process now! As a private school, Thales Academy does not offer special education services and/or accommodations outlined on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or 504 Plans. Regardless of IEP or 504, all prospective students must complete the standard admissions process and undergo the same admissions assessments as other applicants. During the admissions process, all applicants with IEPs or 504 Plans must submit copies of IEP or 504 documentation for school review. No admissions decisions will be rendered until full documentation is received.
