The Thales Academy K-5 curriculum provides an excellent foundation of learning and a thorough preparation for the upper grades. Direct Instruction lessons in Reading, Spelling, Language Arts, and Math are combined with interactive Science and Social Studies courses. Daily reinforcement of character development and outdoor play (weather permitting) as well as weekly courses in Technology, Art, Music, Spanish, and Physical Education round out the K-5 curriculum.
Parents are often astonished to see how quickly their students learn concepts in the K-5 years; e.g., most Thales Academy kindergartners are reading by January.
