Who was Thales?
Thales of Miletos (624 BC – 546 BC)
Born in 624 BC in Asia Minor, Thales of Miletus is regarded by many as the Father of the Sciences and of Western Philosophy.
Thales provides an excellent example for students.
He mastered the fields of mathematics, science, politics, business and philosophy. Simply put, he was a master of thought.
Thales Academies follow his example of classical excellence. Students at Thales receive an unparalleled breadth and depth of education. We believe that education is more than the mere accumulation of facts, it is a journey where students come to know and pursue truth.
