Thales was founded as part of an educational movement which seeks to improve the American educational system. Once the envy of the world, American education has gradually slipped into mediocrity. Thales aims to reverse the trend and to provide a model for other schools that would like to achieve educational success.

Thales Academy is a K-12 college preparatory private chain of schools in North Carolina. Thales Academy assists parents in cultivating virtuous, critical-thinking, compassionate student citizens by fostering high standards of accountability, academic achievement, and civic responsibility through the use of Direct Instruction, discipline, and standard dress code. On average, Thales students perform above their class grade level, and outrank nationwide peers on objective, standardized tests.
